The French just aren’t quite ready for nationalism. Give ’em five (or ten) more years. They’ll come around.
I’m off to a warm, sunny locale for a week. I don’t plan on going completely off the grid, but posting may be sporadic.
Welcome to the 3/24/17 edition of “Evan’s Friday Briefing,” a quick list of what I’ve been enjoying, learning, and trying out.
What I’ve Been Listening To
I’ve been oscillating between the classical “big three”—Bach, Mozart, and Beethoven—and 2000s country, especially Alan Jackson, George Strait, Trace Adkins, Rodney Atkins, Kenny Chesney, and Brooks and Dunn.
Language Learning Habit I’ve Implemented
Reading the Bible in Spanish—or, leer la Biblia en español. I’ve been reading it through a smartphone app while I wait for a physical copy to arrive in the mail. Language learning should be fun, and nothing beats the Bible.
Project I’m Involved In
A couple of good friends and I are seeking to start a nonprofit that promotes the resurgence of Western Civilization, traditional values, and holistic individual well-being. More to come later.
My Tip Of The Day
Focus is the key to success. It is something you can train yourself to improve. Without focus, you cannot have a strong work ethic. And without a strong work ethic, you will not know success.
Great Quote I’ve Been Ruminating On
“Your income is directly related to your philosophy, not the economy.” – Jim Rohn
